All About Me:

Hello Early Childhood Families!

 

I have been with Kearney Public Schools as an Early Childhood Special Educator for Birth to 5 Year Olds since 2006. I provide support to students and their caregivers in home settings, community daycares and preschools. I graduated from UNK in 2005 with endorsements in Early Childhood and K-6 Mild Moderate Special Education.

 

I have always loved being around babies and young children and watching them learn and develop. Working with their families and caregivers has been an added bonus because they truly are their child's first teacher! The excitement of watching a young child learn a new skill and celebrating with their family never gets old!

 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three boys, reading, decorating, shopping, and traveling.
